Hello,
I was at the Arboretum yesterday and saw this bug among lots of bumble bees on a flowering bush. It didn't move much. It was a bug a bit smaller than a grasshopper with an iridescent blue color to it, It didn't move and it didn't bite. What could it be? Photo is marked Bug on Bush.

I believe this wasp is of the Sphecidae (Thread-waisted Wasps) family, possibly of the Genus Podium.
