septic drain fields and run off/drainage #153282

Hi. I am needing to solve run off issues from a home. If I extend drainage, they will be within 10 feet of septic drainfields. Building a dry well is a solution or planting a rain garden could be a possibility too. Do you have ideas or resources to help find the best long-term solution?

I would check with any local ordinances on what one is allowed to do. If possible a water garden would be environmentally sound. A good web site to check is:
