Why are my apples always deformed? #151683

Since I moved into my house 4 years ago, the apple tree on our property has not once produced good apples. It flowers normally in the spring and seems pretty healthy, but the apples never turn out. There are some holes in the leaves. See photos. What should I do?
Also, I just planted a honeycrisp apple tree this spring about 100 feet away. Will this affect my new tree?

You appear to have been visited by the apple maggot check http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/horticulture/M1235-8.html for control.
Holes in the leaves may have been caused by a insect that is no longer around. Check for live insects and send a picture for id.
Any apple tree in the area will be affected by the maggot, sanitation or traps are recommended.
