Tonight I came out to find my roses covered in these beetle-like things. Something has been eating the leaves, but there has been no sign of anything during the day. Could someone identify these and tell me my options as far as how to get rid of them?
Thank you!

Hello,
Looks like you have black vine weevil. Here's some excellent information from Rhode Island: http://www.uri.edu/ce/factsheets/sheets/blackvineweevil.html
At this point, your best control is to disrupt the insect life cycle...the adults will begin laying eggs soon. Hand picking them off and throwing them in soapy water will kill them. There are some chemical controls, but those are generally applied in early summer and at this late in the season, will be mostly ineffective.
