I've found what appears to be crab grass, but the green seeds are round and have sharp spikes on them - much like the burrs we used to see in Nebraska. I've taken photos of this grass if it would help. I've never seen this type of grass before. What is it?

This is sandbur, an annual grassy weed. It prefers dry sandy areas and often found in low maintenance turf areas.
