This summer I have had various insects swarming against the house. First is was elm beetles. Now it is a different insect. Looks like some sort of ant or termite. Please see attached pictures.

Its some kind of bee or wasp (a non-stinging kind). It is not an ant or a termite.
I'll try to get it narrowed down soon but wanted you to know at least what it's not !
