Some of our impatiens are either looking very sick or dying. Late last winter I was reading about a new problem with impatiens called downy mildew. Could this be our problem. Has it been found in the twin cities yet?

Downy mildew in Impatience has been in MN since 2011. Downy mildew on
Impatiens is a disease caused by the water mold Plasmopara obducens.
Turn your leaves over and look for the characteristic fluffy white fungal
'down' covering the lower surface of the leaves. If you have downy mildew
promptly bag and remove your infected plants to reduce spread to neighboring
plants. Do not plant impatience next year. Please read the following sites for
