I live in Elbert county Colorado at 6500 Ft elevation. I have pondarosa pines I will spray for beetles in our area. When is the best time to spray and what should I use?

I have attached a Fact Sheet on Mountain Pine Beetles for information.  The best time to spray is early summer.   You will note in the attached that there are certain formulations of sprays that have been developed to prevent attacking beetles. Depending on the number of trees you are considering spraying, you may want to contact the Colorado Forestry Service for more information.
