Can you tell me what kind of pine tree this is? The tree on the left. Someone at a nursery told me that it is rare and you can't buy them anywhere anymore. Is this true?

This could be a concolor fir or a variety of blue spruce. it would be impossible to tell without a close up analysis. You could send a sample to Diagnostic Services www.pestid.msu.edu Neither are rare, but commercial availability may vary.
