Is there a way to search any online mapping service, such as Google Earth or Google maps, for township, range, and section? (Public Land Survey System.) I would like to list township-range-section in a search like this, 163-59 section 18, and have the mappling service display that area on the map.

The only service I am aware of that does something similar is EarthPoint, www.earthpoint.us. It is offers some free township and range searches that can be viewed on Google Earth, as well as subscription services that add functionality directly to Google Earth. According to the website there is "No charge for students, teachers, or non-governmental charitable relief organizations. Approvals on a case-by-case basis."
