Except for a few common species spiders are almost impossible to id by photos. The hobo spider is fairly common in the NW but it looks like several other species, and color patterns are highly variable. The only way to get a definite answer is to send the sample to the insect id clinic at OSU, through your county Extension office, so that it can be examined under a microscope.
