aquatic plants for waterfowl #111298
Asked December 31, 2012, 8:09 PM EST
I want to plant some safe, native aquatic plants to create a food source for waterfowl. It is a small pond, about one half acre with an average depth of four feet. We are located in North Texas. I want to plant things that won't get out of control.

I have a couple of questions for you. Do you know what type of waterfowl is foraging on your pond? This is important to know, as many ducks have particular feeding habits and you may need to plant more then one type of plant.
Do you know where you will get the plants to place in your pond once some are recommended?
