Inexpensive rain barrel? #110813
Asked December 17, 2012, 1:05 PM EST
Is there an inexpensive way to build a rain barrel? This would be for watering my veggie garden (residential size). I don't mind modifying my downspout to use this to collect rain water.

Extension teaches making rain barrel
classes every other month at the Dallas Research and Extension Center at 17360
Coit Road, Dallas, TX. Go to http://dallas.tamu.edu
to see when a class is scheduled and to register. You make the barrel and take
it home from the class.
We use used 55 gallon barrels from a
food production company. These barrels last for many years.
