Some of the clusters of flowers on my raspberry vines are having an issue. The stem near the cluster seems to be eaten or just weakened is a specific way. Some of them are broken clear through while others just seem to have the top part of the stem gone. see photos. Thanks.

Hello. I see articles that say mums are good for butterflies, and other articles that say mums are good for insect control, as below. How can they be both? Thank you. Fruit tree sprays that don't hurt ponds #786490

I have three cherries, a pear, plum and an apple tree is my yard. I want to spray to make sure I don't get worms, but I also have a koi pond that I don't want to hurt. One of the cherries is directly behind the pond, the others are on the other side of the yard about 20 feet away. What can I use? The tree behind pond, last year was so prolific with fruit I don't want to chance it. Any ideas?

Infected Shore Pines in Gearhart #774859

I have about a dozen shore pines on my property in Gearhart and 5 or 6 os them are infected with an insect that bores into them and puts out an ugly pasty blob around where it burrows into the tree. If you scrape off the gooey blob you can see the short worm like creature making a hole in the tree. I've dug them out by hand but there are too many to keep up. Someone told me there is a substance that can be injected into the tree that will kill off the infestation. Is that true and if so what is it and how can I get some? Thanks much!

Aphids control #774082

We have lived in Newark Delaware for the past 35 years. Just this past summer we have been getting A very sticky substance on our deck and our deck furniture. Just based on our research we believe it is due to Aphid bugs although we have never had the issue before. We have a white maple near our deck, probably 110 feet tall where the bugs may be feasting. Can you tell us how we might rid ourselves of this issue for now and the future? Thanks for your time.

What organic options are there for flea beetles and white flies besides physical barriers such as netting/ spun polyester cloth? Both insects are not as prevelent currently but concerned they will increase. The flea beetles did a lot of damage on my pole beans, arugula and other greens. Noticed white flies today on my mustard seedlings.
