What are these please

Hi There,

We have property in Cripple Creek, CO. and found a dense silky white web in the top of our Douglas Fir.   The tip of the tree is totally brown, and with binoculars I have spotted caterpillars on the outside of the web.  I can't identify the caterpillar markings from where I'm at.  I'm attaching a picture.  We are trying to determine if it is a Tiger Moth or another species and if so, what needs to be done so it does not spread to the surrounding forest we own.  If this is not the office to direct this question to and you know of the correct location, can you please let me know?  Thank you so much!

There are areas along the trunk, branches, and ends of branches on my young apple tree that have what appears to be black soot. Especially where branches have broken off or deer have nibbled off the growing tips. (In spite of trying to fence it) Is there anything to treat this? There are also a few places where the bark has appeared to split. I don't know if this is related I believe it is a standard size Harlson , about 7 ft tall x 6ft diameter. (It should be taller, but the leader got broken off last year ) Base of trunk about 3 " diameter. It did produce some apples last year.

Is rabbit manure good for composting?

Sapsuckers left lots of sooty mold on treetrunks. Would a power washer remove some of the black and not injure the tree?

Rules and regulations regarding freeze drying store bought candy, like skittles. Do I need a license? Can this be done at home to sell?

Our backyard has a bog that we are trying to manage in a restorative way if possible. The problem is that it is the lowest point in our city block in Winooski. Despite the presence of two fully grown curly willows and numerous wetland-loving plantings, it has just gotten wetter over the past year or so --- it almost dried out (other than the trenched areas) once last summer, but has been almost a mud pit ever since. There is a city storm water drain a foot or two away in the neighbors yard that takes some of the water. Help!

Last summer I planted violets in this shady area to hopefully out-compete the garlic mustard and the pennsylvania pellitory. Just this week I see lots of this plant. Can you verify it for me please? I hope it isn't creeping bellflower. Thank you.
